Risk & proposed scope
Resume tools must preserve user input and export a clean document. The proposed scope tests field editing, section ordering, styling options, preview synchronization, long content, and export output.
Example test scenarios
- Edit a field and verify preview updates without losing other sections.
- Paste long text, URLs, Unicode names, and empty optional fields.
- Change style settings and verify spacing, contrast, and ATS readability.
- Export the same CV twice and compare content consistency.
- Reload or navigate away according to the agreed persistence rule.
Evidence & release criteria
Evidence should include input data, selected template/style, preview screenshot, exported file observation, and browser. Release should block lost user content, broken export, unreadable layout, and mismatched preview/export output.
