QA context from my CV

Connect Kisan includes notification management for announcements, alerts, and updates to farmers and stakeholders. The public site positions the platform around empowering farmers, so notification correctness matters for timely communication.

Risk & proposed scope

Notification systems fail quietly when time zones, duplicate scheduling, role targeting, or retry behavior is wrong. The proposed scope covers manual creation, schedule changes, cancellation, delivery audience, and event-triggered messages.

Example test scenarios

  • Schedule an announcement for the future, edit it, and confirm only the latest version is delivered.
  • Cancel a scheduled alert and verify it is not sent.
  • Target one farmer group and confirm other roles do not receive the message.
  • Trigger an event-based notification twice and verify duplicate protection.
  • Test Nepali and English content for display length, readability, and encoding.

Evidence & release criteria

Evidence should include notification ID, target segment, scheduled time, delivery state, recipient sample, and message content. Release should block wrong-recipient delivery and duplicate alerts.
